I drove myself to the procedure and was in the room for no longer then 10 minutes for the procedure, then in the waiting room for another 15 minutes then drove home which was a 1 hour drive. It's been 8 days since my procedure and I have not experienced any pain at all. My mates don't believe me about not having any pain but its true, not even pain where he went in and minimal swelling. My mates got it done in day clinics and hospital which was a longer process and pain for a few days. I highly recommend Matt.

I honestly had no pain at all during the procedure. I felt a little bit of discomfort a week later when everything started to moved around, but that went away quickly. The procedure was over in around 10minutes, my PVSA test passed with flying colours as well. Thanks again, can’t recommend your services enough!
Guys, it's ok to be absolutely terrified at first. But with Dr Masterson, your babies are in good hands. I mean, really. Both Issy and Matthew were professional and most of all it was done literally in 15 mins or so. No pain at all. Just a few "snip snip" sounds and all done. Go home. Ice up, rest and follow Dr Masterson's instructions to the letter. This is important, don't go macho and start lifting weights and exerting! Over a week now, no problems. Totally recommended if you've made up your mind to have no more kids. And don't worry, does not affect any "performance", in fact, I suspect it improved it :) But remember to wait the 3 months and get the test done to confirm. All the best.
A professional service and approach, procedure was around 15mins from the moment you walked in to finish.. you are asked to sit around outside for 10mins in the waiting room to make sure you don’t have any major pain. To be honest vasectomy’s have come a long way in 15 years from the stories I had from friends, I have zero pain and now 7 days from the procedure I’m back to doing everything as normal, (not that I felt I couldn’t anyway) .. location is good as well, as parking in BJ Westfield and being in and out of the car park is around 45-50mins

Matt was great from the beginning of the vasectomy process. I always had issues with needles and so on. He made me feel calm and helped me to keep in that way during the process. The vasectomy itself it's so quick. I had discomfort the same evening, but the next day I felt much better. Just a bit sore. Couple of small bruises and that's it. I never thought I’d be leaving a 5 star rating for a vasectomy but here we are - it was just that good an experience I wanted to ensure other men had the comfort and security I had in my experience.I drove myself to and from the procedure. Dr Masterson & his nurse were very professional but equally happy to have a distracting chat with me. This help make what I had wound myself up into being an avoidable experience I may have wanted to avoid into a truly pain free, comfortable and well discussed procedure.The discomfort was entirely minimal and I was out walking to the cafe the following day.The hardest part (no pun intended) was waiting the three months to try out the fruits of the Dr’s Labor.Men, don’t beat yourselves up or delay it, the sooner you get it done the sooner you’ll enjoy the peace of mind.Thanks again.
Very positive experience with Dr Masterson. Clear information, quick and easy procedure, and light years better and cheaper than the alternative. Why GPs still refer to day surgery/general anaesthetic is beyond me. Would have cost $2k plus and been knocked out going down that route, costing a full day of surgery then recovery. With Dr M, it’s in and out in 30 minutes and fine to do most tasks that day. I drove myself home. Don’t hesitate going with him. Your nads will thank you (after a couple days!).

Admittedly I was nervous from the outset. Dr Masterson and his assistant were attentive and reassuring.However, I was a little disappointed that it took my prompting to request the referral for semen analysis 14 weeks (instead of the 12 quoted) after the procedure.

The vasectomy went very well. It was done quickly and professionally with pretty much no pain. Great recovery now 19 days afterwards. I should have taken some panadol straight after the procedure so it had kicked in before the local wore off. I would recommend Dr Masterson to anyone.

I was reluctant and a little embarrassed to go through with the procedure, both Matt and his assistant put me at ease and made the experience as comfortable as possible and certainly put me at ease. I was shocked when he told me we were finished as it didn’t feel that long at all. Definitely would recommend for other men considering. I particularly found the clear instruction, quick and painless procedure and the overall friendliness made the experience manageable and comfortable.

I saw Dr Masterson through the week and I was naturally nervous. Overall the entire experience was professional and much easier than I expected it to be. Booking was a breeze, videos prior to the procedure were clear and easy to understand and the actual procedure was quick and relatively pain free.My recovery has been a walk in the park as well, I'm on day 3 and feeling pretty awesome.I also highly recommend Matt, from the moment I met him, he made me feel at ease and ensured that I was across all elements to the procedure.Google has asked for photos, however, I think I may pass on this one!Thanks again guys!
I came in so nervous like really nervousDr Masterson called my name and my hart dropped anyway in I went he ran me through what the procedure was to be I was like ok mate to be honest he just made me so comfortable and relaxed before I new it bang were all done couldn’t believe it so fast 98% pain free I’m home now so relaxed and pain is maybe 1/10 if you’re going to do it do yourself a favour book with him 10/10 dr Masterson you are a credit to your profession can’t thank you enough

Quick procedure. Slight pain when they insert the local anaesthetic and then you don't feel a thing.Matt and the nurse kept conversation flowing to take your mind off what's going on. Very professional.
I do recommend doctor Matthew. Even though the vasectomy was an awkward surgery, he made me feel comfortable during the surgery by talking and making the effort to keep relaxed. I do recommend him if you are ever thinking of doing it.
I'm big softy, so I was a bit nervous about the procedure. However, Dr Masterson and Abby were excellent and did a great job. The information videos and instructions before and after the procedure was outstanding. If you need a Vasectomy, this is the place to do it.
Couldn’t have been happier with the whole thing. Admittedly I was pretty nervous leading up to the big day but Dr Masterson and Izzy were very friendly and put all my nerves at ease as soon as I walked in. It really was quick, easy and painless. Was an absolute pleasure to be handled by Matt, I was pretty nervous when going in and couldn't watch the introduction video as I wouldn't have done through with the procedure. Would highly recommend Dr Matt. The first thought of going thru with the procedure was very scary and daunting, but when on the operating table Dr Matt and the nurse had made an awkward procedure turn into a 15 minute chat fest. The next thing I knew I was done. Recovery was fast and pain free. Hats off to the Dr and nurse for a job well done.

This can be a hard decision for a man as there is a lot of rumours around what will happen. I went to Matthew as he specialises in this one procedure and I figured had seen it all. Matthew made it completely stress free. We had a chat and at the end we were finished. He said there might be post operative “discomfort”. I assumed this is doctor code for pain. There was none when the anaesthetic wore off there was next to no discomfort I had no problems sitting and doing my normal days work. I would say if you have finished having children just get this done as it is easy, pain free and best way for a couple to manage contraception.
Dr Masterson is a really good doctor and came recommended to me by a nurse at Family Planning NSW. His service is not as cheap as Family Planning NSW, but I have no regrets spending the money on his service. His before, during and after service is incredible. It is obvious that he is very experienced in the procedure that I underwent and was able to anticipate my concerns with Youtube videos. I am also impressed by his proactive approach of calling and writing emails to ensure that everything goes smoothly, and he has addressed all my concerns.
The whole thing was simple to book and that simplicity carried on right throughout the process. I was well informed at every stage and all my questions were answered. It was a calm and safe environment and everything was over before I knew it. Would definitely recommend Dr Masterson.
